Location Description
General info
Estepona is one of the main tourist centers of the Western Costa del Sol. It has well equipped beaches, a magnificent marina and eight golf courses. Its 21 kilometers long coast is marked by 17 perfectly equipped beaches. The emblematic beach La Rada, with an extensive sandy area defined by a promenade, has received in various occasions the Blue Flag and the ‘Q’ for Quality. Other famous Estepona beaches are El Cristo, El Saladillo, La Galera, El Padrón, Punta de la Plata, Bahía Dorada and Costa Natura. The last one is naturist. Well-known, busy, family-friendly town and holiday village with 67’000 inhabitants, in the south-western part of the region, directly by the sea, in a convenient position, 85 km south-west from Málaga, 25 km west from Marbella. In the resort: supermarket, shops, grocery, butchery, bakery, post office, restaurant, bar, disco, evening entertainment. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Granada, Alhambra 200 km, Gibraltar 55 km, Sierra Nevada 250 km, Zoo Selwo Aventura, coach tours.
