Welcome to Casa Carolina  Punta Lara perfectly situated, nestling in an elevated position, in a stunning white Andalucian setting overlooking Playazo Beach and the Mediterranean.

The presentation and furnishings in Casa Carolina is of an excellent standard. The property is fully air-conditioned. Holiday makers are well catered for in this property. The price is both reasonable and affordable .

Furthermore the Apartment Casa Carolina is spacious bright and airy with a large south-east facing  terrace This gives excellent views of the sea, mountains and Nerja town.

Lounge:

French windows lead into the very comfortably furnished lounge, with a very modern sofa and a dining table and chairs. Casa Carolina has a very modern flat screen TV with an excellent  TV package. This package includes all the British channels plus many Spanish and other international channels. The Villa also has a free Fibre Optic WIFI internet connection.

Kitchen:

The American-style kitchen in Casa Carolina Punta Lara is well equipped. It is well equipped for both home cooking and dining. This is because it is equipped with a oven, ceramic hob, large fridge freezer, microwave,  toaster and electric kettle. Furthermore there is even a citrus juicer for making fresh  juice from the locally grown oranges.

Bedrooms:

Both the double bedroom and twin bedroom have sea views and plenty of storage.  They also both have air conditioning. The lounge is also has air conditioning. Furthermore the price includes the air conditioning.

Bathroom:

The large bathroom has a full size bath with shower and wash basin bidet and WC.

Studio apartment:

Casa Carolina Punta Lara  has a beautiful studio apartment below. A very reasonable price is available for renting the apartment and the studio.  The studio has a full kitchen and shower room. Both properties have separate entrances.

It is possible to negotiate a price for both the apartment and the studio this increases the capacity to 6.

Community Pool:

Set on the beautiful white urbanisation of Punta Lara, Casa Carolina boasts a fabulous community pool in a tropical setting. Furthermore this is just two minutes walk from the property. The community pool is arguably the best community pool in Nerja.

The swimming pool at Punta Lara is  reserved for the exclusive use of the residents of the small community. The pool also boasts a lovely children’s pool and a lifeguard. The lifeguard is always in attendance whilst the pool is open. The community pool also has a snack bar and restaurant. Here Miguel and his family serve delicious Spanish food from morning until late at night. Also there is also another restaurant ‘the Oasis’ this restaurant also serves delicious food.

Furthermore both of these establishments are a short walk from the front door .

Terrace:

From the terrace of Casa Carolina Punta Lara you can enjoy wonderful views of the Mediterranean. Furthermore there is also a dramatic backdrop of mountains. Due to where the sun is shining on the mountains they constantly are changing colours throughout the day.

Patio furniture sun-loungers and a BBQ are provided making the terrace a  great place for Al Fresco dining or simply relaxing and enjoying the sunshine and the views.

Beaches:

From the apartment  you can stroll down to Playazo Beach which is within a five minutes walk. If you continue and stroll along that beach you will come to Torrecilla Beach. Of course it would be very thoughtless not to stop off for a refreshing drink at one of the lovely Chiringuitos. These watering holes serve delicious fresh fish and paella daily and are located all along Playazo beach.

This same beach leads to the beautiful white old town of Nerja, with it’s wonderful Balcon de Europa.  Here you will find stunning views of the coastline and mountains, and the opportunity to relax in one of the pretty pavement cafes, that fringe the main square.

Many of our clients, once they have experienced Nerja and it’s many wonderful features, return time and time again.

Nerja:

Nerja old town, vibrant in summer, with it’s lovely whitewashed streets and of course, the famous Balcon de Europa and the beautiful square with it’s white church and the many pavement cafes. Huge trees surrond the bars providing very welcome shade!. The views from the balcon of the coastline are breathtaking and spectacular. Many people return again and again just to sit and take in the wonderful scenery.

Nerja is awash with fantastic restaurants, from tapas bars aplenty, to the finest dining experiences.  There are also fantastic shops, and bars and cafes, where you can sit and relax, and take in the many fantastic views.  Nerja is truly a most beautiful Andalucian experience, and that is why our clients return again and again.

Reasonably priced Taxies are available from Casa Carolina Punta Lara to Nerja or you can have a very pleasant walk of around twenty five minutes.

Places to sea:

Furthemore, from here, it is easy to visit the city of Malaga. This is a beautiful City with its magnificent Cathedral and the Picasso Museum. Nerja has lovey whitewashed streets, and Piazzas. Nerja has many shops or if you prefer you can just sit and watch the world go by in any of the authentic cafés, bars and restaurants.

From Nerja GranadaSevilleCordoba, and Ronda, are all within easy reach. These magnificent cities all boast the most wonderful culture and architecture.

Climate:

The climate in Nerja is wonderful and really is the best in Europe. In the winter months, the temperature can be easily warm enough to sunbathe spending time on the beach. However within an hour and a half drive you can be in the Sierra Nevada Mountains skiing.

  • Additional rules information
  • DEPARTURE On departure we do not expect you to clean the property as it will be cleaned prior to the next arrival. We appreciate that the vast majority of our client always leave our properties in good order and we very much appreciate this however just as a reminder: Prior to departure we do require you to do the following: empty all used items from the fridge. Turn of all lights fans air conditioning units ect take away all the rubbish / garbage to the basura. Leave the property in a tidy condition. If you have moved any furniture beds ect please leave them how you found them on arrival. If the property has a BBQ please clean it and leave it in the same condition as you found it I am sorry to say that occasional properties are found in an unacceptable condition. If the property is found in such a state ie very dirty and any extra cleaning to the norm is required the owners insist that you be charged for the extra cleaning. We currently charge 13.5 Euros per hour for cleaning and this will be deducted from your damage deposit. A refundable security deposit of 100 Euros will be required at the time of paying your balance payment, this will be returned to you on a satisfactory inspection of the property within 7 clear days of your departure.
