The magnificent Calle Molina Larios is a must to walk. This beautiful wide pedestrianised Street is above all lined with designer shops, and elegant cafes. Venture off this street, into the many typical narrow, but equally beautiful streets. in addition here you can certainly see the old, tiny authentic tapas bars. Consequently here you will receive delicious morsels of food served with each glass of superb vino! Also there are many individual shops selling a fabulous range of exclusive items.
A visit to Malaga at Christmas is a must, if just to see this spectacular Christmas light show check out the video a must to see. It normally starts from the end of November with 3 daily light and sound shows with Christmas songs at 6.30 pm, 8 pm and 9.30 pm every day, until January 5.
Alternatively, every day at the same time there is a Christmas story in the form of a videomapping that will be projected in Alcazabilla street, on the wall of the Alcazaba. This 7 minutes story for the whole family, but especially focused on the youngest, is set in Malaga. The 3 daily screenings take place at 6:30 pm, 8 pm and 9:30 pm.
Historical places of interest in Malaga.
These include the Alcazaba of Malaga built in the 11th Century! Adjacent to this are the excavated remnants of a Roman theatre, dating to the 1st Century BC. Incredible sight!
